Free Fouad Al-Farhan, Sign the Petition

On December 11, one of the Arab world's top bloggers was arrested by the Saudi Interior Ministry for refusing to apologise for criticising corruption and calling for reform.
Please follow this link to sign the petition below calling on American and Saudi officials to exert their influence to secure Fouad's release.

I write to demand the immediate release of Fouad Al-Farhan, a young Saudi businessman and blogger who was arrested on December 11 by the Interior Ministry.

Fouad's detention came after refusing to apologize for blog posts that criticized Saudi officials. He remains held in an undisclosed location and no charges have been filed against him.

Fouad is an independent voice committed to nonviolence. He is father of Khattab (7) and Raghad (5). Please help release Fouad and return him to his family at once.

Thank you for your attention.

Well finally you took at break to protest Jews defending themselves to criticize the real fascists and fanatics. I wonder why you don't boycott Saudi Arabia. They certainly are a greater threat to peace than the evil Joooooos.

It doesn’t matter whether someone is Jewish, Arab, Persian, African, European, or American. You must judge people based on their actions and not anything else. I generally don’t support the boycott of non-democratic countries because the people harmed by such a boycott are usually not the ones responsible for the government’s actions.

"You must judge people based on their actions and not anything else."

You mean like crashing Airplanes into buildings and killing 3,000 inocent people?

young_activist said...

I'm curious, who do you think was responsible for 9/11 that I have not been critical of?

young_activist said...

Constructive debate from all viepoints is welcomed and encouraged. Name calling is not. Please do not post in the future if you do not have anything to contribute.

Shaughn said...

To answer your question YA lets not forget that 9-11 hijacker Mohammad Atta and his 18 islamic butchers used swords / box cutters across the throats of our American and United flight crews.
I don't care what your story about this is. Because of what they did and what they are still doing, I am anti-Islam right down to my toes.

young_activist said...

You refuse to even allow me to post my condemnations of the policies you support on your blog, you come over here call me names and post using four seperate idenities, impersonate a military vetran, and then tell me that I'm anti-free speech for deleting such commnents. I'm sorry that deosn't even make sense. Any viewpoints are welcome. All debate is encouraged, name calling posts will be removed. It's that simple, if you can't be civil and stay away from personal attacks then don't post.

young_activist said...

You are so blinded by the hate and fear of 9/11 that you refuse to think rationally or even consider the well being of other people. In that sense your thinking is not much diffrent from those who carried out 9/11. I encourage you to open your eyes and take a look around the world before you make ignorant and hateful comments like that.

MG said...

You are blinded by the media. You are just a liberal nutjob that will be pleading for your life to the Jihadists while those who realize it ahead of time will live. JUST READ A KORAN. ANY KORAN.

young_activist said...

That comment demonstrates my point about conservatives better then anything I could ever say.

For those of you nor farmiliar with mg this is a pesron who brags on his blog that he belongs to a group recognized as a terrorist organazation by the U.S and Israel.

MG said...

haha I like that introduction. Perhaps I should use that on my blog. Only the blind governments think Kach is a terrorist group. It received about 45% of the vote in Israel in 1988, and the Gov't banned it before it could take office. We will rise again. Muslims are an evil and vile group of animals. That wont ever change.

young_activist said...

What is not cannot cease to be. Its your perception of Islam that needs to change to fit in with reality, not the religon that needs to be changed.

MG said...

Have you ever once picked up a Koran? Read through the verses speaking of killing my people? Well perhaps it is not I that needs to change, only the fact that 1.2 Billion people are insane.

young_activist said...

Take off your blinders and look at the big picture. Someone could just as easily cherry pick verses from your holy book and take it out of context to say that you are insane, although that assesment would be much more accurate than your comments about Islam.

MG said...

Apparently the Saudi hijackers on 9/11 didn't cherry pick the verses. They are in context dumb ass. ISLAM IS VIOLENT. When is the last time an Amish man killed 3000 Americans? They are Apparently the Saudi hijackers on 9/11peaceful, you are not.

young_activist said...

Everything the 9/11 hijackers did went against Islamic law. They do not speek for Muslims or Saudis and if you think they do then you are obviously very ignorant about Islam and shouldn't be commenting.

Based on your blog I got the impression you were Jewish, doesn't matter I'll use the same example anyways look at the early books of the Bible were genocide is condoned.

Why don't you take a moment to hear from the vast majority of Muslims who are not violent people. No one says that all Christians are evil people becuase of the LRA or the KKK, no one says that all Jews are evil people becuase of terrorist groups like Kach and Irgun, and no one should say that all Muslims are evil becuase of 9/11. That is blatantly rascist and just as vile as anti-semetism.

MG said...

To start off, Kach and Irgun are not terrorists. They are Jewish Heros. uslims have committed more terrorist attacks then the rest of the world combined. Just because you do not understand a religion doesn't mean that you must defend it. I understand Islam perfectly. Muslims are dogs, as are the "palestinians".

young_activist said...

One man's terrorist is another man' hero. I wonder were you would be if you were born in Palestine.

You do not understand Islam at all. If the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world are as insane as you make them out to be then most of us would be dead. I think its you who is insane. All you understand is your own lust for blood. If it wasn't the Muslims it would be the black you didn't like, or the gays, or some other group.

You have crossed the line of absurdity a long time ago. Your points are so ridiculous that its impossible to reduce them any further logically. Wilfull ignorance is something which I cannot overcome when trying to make a point.

MG said...

Below is a list of Islamic Terrorist attacks:

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/attacks-2007.htm

Where are the Jewish Attacks? Where are the Christian attacks? You are brainwashed. Get over it.

young_activist said...

This isn't a question of numbers. There are conservatives in every culture.

There are plenty of Christian terrorists and there are even more Jewish terrorists. This isn't a question of religons this is a question of hate and it transcends every culture. You have brainwashed yourself. You single out the attacks from one group, refuse to look at any other members of that group and completly gloss over, if you don't praise, any atrocity commited by any other group. You choose to be ignorant.

Conservatism, and more specifically hate is what spawned 9/11 and it is alive and well within many outside the Islamic world, yourself among them.

MG said...

Conservatism isn't the problem, TERRORISM is the problem. Jew Hating Bastards like yourself cant see that.

young_activist said...

As you demonstrate conservatism breeds support for terrorism. Support for terrorism in turn breeds terrorism.

Unlike you I don't hate any people. Take a look at my blog. There is nothing I have ever said that is anti-semetic. If you have substantive evidence to back your points than let's hear, but if you are only hear to make false personal attacks against myself or anyone else than your comments will be deleted.

MG said...

You want an example?
Your links.
Boycott Israel.
Second Picture down is Hamas Supporters, listed inmore countries then Kach as a Terror group. Oh and BTW, If you like cell phones, you might not wanna boycott Israel. Israeli Scientists invented it.

Naomi said...

but if you are only hear?

LOL, Here is spelled this way Young Actor!

Clearly, there is an anti-Israel sentiment here that is being exhibited,

young_activist said...

Linking to a site that posts a picture of a person who belongs to a political group does not mean I support that political group. You're being a little delusional. Perhaps you accuse me of being anti-semetic becuase that's the best defense you can come up with for Israel. Funny though that you are accusing me of being anti-semetic when you yourself have boasted of being a rascist.

I support the boycott of Israel becuase Israel is an apartheid state and must be treated like South Africa was during the South African apartheid.

MG said...

The you are delusional. Blacks in Africa were treated little better then slaves, in Israel THEY CAN VOTE AND ARE IN THE KNESSET. Israel kicked NO ONE out in 1948, the Arabs chose to leave an now want back. I assume you are Muslim, because you sure are quick to defend terrorism.

young_activist said...

Israel worked closely with the South African apartheid state, but that is irrelevant to the suffering of the Palestinian people under the yoke Israeli repression. What South Africans are in the Knesset?

I am not a Muslim, I do however speak out against injustice, bigotry, and hate, the sort of things of which you are a proponent.

Show me one place where I have defended terrorism. I have never defended terrorism, you on the other hand cannot say the same so you haven't much of a right to comment there.

Israel drove millions of Arabs from their homes. If fleeing massacares and tanks rather than dying is leaving willfully then I suppose you are right about that point. Why don't you get rid of your double standards and apply that logic to Nazi Germany to see how foolish it is.

Anonymous said...

Drove millions from their homes? Did you read this in your imam's history book? The highest estimates run that there were around 800,000 "palestinian" refugees that left due to the wars. Lower estimates insist that it was closer to around 400,000-500,000 only. In subsequent years in other places these people have given birth to children at alarming rates (probably contributing to their immense poverty along with the PLO hoarding all their money). Children born to a refugee automatically become refugees themselves, having never left home? By that logic the entire world could be refugees. Jewish leaders in Haifa are on record as having encourage Arabs to stay during the war of Independence so that they could help contribute to the Haifa's business interests after it would end. They did not listen, but chose to listen to the leaders of Arab nations and the Arab legion, who are on record as advising the "Palestinians" to leave. The war was a war. Jews weren't intent on commiting "massacres" but defending against the invading forces who chose to start the war. After the Jews celebrated the granting of the state. They didn't ask for a war on themselves. Of course, to Muslims, they did, because just the fact of being Jewish and being Zionist and having any control of Middle Eastern land, means to them that the person has asked for war. The fact that you excuse this lack of moral accountability on the part of Arabs is quite frankly, racist against Arabs.

MG said...

I believe "anonymous" summed up my view pretty well. Arabs want EVERY Jew to die. I will not reason with, negotiate with, or do anything that destroy anyone that wants to harm my people. The Muslim killings of Jews, in the Land of Israel, in the 1920 Palestine Riots, 1921 Jaffa Riots, the 1929 Hebron Massacre, the Arab revolt from 1936-1939, and the 1947 Jerusalem riots were ALL BEFORE THE FORMATION OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL. Where was Israeli oppression then? Where was apartheid?

young_activist said...

None of that can justify further atrocities. Violence has been used and atrocities have been perpetrated by both sides. None of that however can be used to justify repression against innocent people.

young_activist said...

Okay, let's take your numbers, if you haven't driven at least a million people out does that mean its not a crime? Some Jewish leaders may have asked the Arabs to stay, but others were killing them.

Killing civilians cannot be stretched or constured to mean self defense. Bombing hotels and using terrorism is not a form of self defense. Dropping cluster bombs into a civilian areas is not self defense. Commiting genocide in Lebanon is not self defense. Assasinations and kidnappings are not self defense. Preemptive invasions are not self defense. Apartheid is not self defense. Goldstein's massacare was not self defense. Colonizing other people's land is not self defense. Creating a humanitarian disaster is not self defense.
