Take these two speeches from Republican Presidential candidate John McCain concerning Haiti and Somalia given before the Senate in 1993 and 1994. Why are nation building activities of a far greater scale then the activities Clinton committed to acceptable to Sen. McCain under a Republican President? Switch out Iraq for Somalia and Haiti and play his latest campaign speech. McCain's logic is fixed around what is politically convenient.
